We would rather lose a sale than sell you a broken expectation. So here is the honest version, before you pay a cent.
A static site is plain HTML files served from Cloudflare's edge. That is what makes it fast, cheap, and impossible to hack or break. The trade is that it cannot do the server-side things above. For a portfolio, brochure, landing page, or marketing site, that trade is almost always worth it. For a site whose whole point is a logged-in app or a live store, a clone is not the right tool, and we will tell you so rather than take your money.
A contact or signup form still renders on the clone, it just will not submit to your old backend. Most forms can be rewired to a lightweight form handler that works with static hosting. If that matters to you, tell us and we will point you to the simplest option, or be honest that it is more than a quick swap.
If your site is mostly content and design, a clone is a near-perfect copy at a fraction of the cost. If it depends on server-side features, the preview will show you the gaps up front, so you can decide with your eyes open. That is the whole point of doing it this way.
